LEAN Innovations was founded in 2003 in response to industry’s movement towards Lean Manufacturing and the use of the 5S technique (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain). Studies have proven that well-organized workplaces, coupled with “Point of Use” tooling, lead to significant increases in throughput and efficiency. Lean manufacturing is all about reducing nonvalue-added activities, or simply, the elimination of “waste”.  LEAN Innovations provides high quality products and services that increase workplace organization (“Set in Order”) and reduce nonvalue-added motion, hence reducing “waste”.

LEAN Innovations specializes in high quality standard and custom toolboard designs, as well as other “Point of Use” tool storage systems. LEAN Innovations’ products support the visual workplace,

 “a work environment that is self-explaining, self-ordering and self-improving – where what is supposed to happen does happen, on time, every time, day or night”.
